Pipe Fitter – FIFO Position
RSQUARED INTERNATIONAL PTY LTD is seeking experienced and skilled Pipe Fitters for FIFO projects in Western Australia.
Key Responsibilities
- Read and interpret piping drawings, isometric drawings, specifications, and P&IDs.
- Measure, cut, prepare, fit, and assemble pipes and pipe components.
- Install flanges, valves, supports, gaskets, and associated piping equipment.
- Perform accurate pipe alignment, levelling, and flange fit-up.
- Conduct dimensional and visual inspections before welding.
- Assist welders during pipe positioning and fit-up activities.
- Identify piping components, materials, pressure ratings, and specifications.
- Follow permit-to-work, isolation, confined-space, and working-at-height procedures.
- Comply with project quality requirements, inspection test plans, and site safety procedures.
- Maintain tools, equipment, and a clean work area.
Requirements
- Demonstrated experience as an industrial Pipe Fitter.
- Relevant trade qualification or recognised equivalent.
- Construction Induction Card (White Card).
- Working at Heights and Confined Space Entry tickets.
- High Risk Work Licence and EWP ticket are advantageous.
- Ability to read piping isometrics, drawings, and technical specifications.
- Experience in mining, construction, shutdown, or industrial projects.
- Ability to pass a pre-employment medical and drug and alcohol screening.
- Current Australian working rights.
- Valid driver’s licence is preferred.
- Must be currently residing in Australia.
Employment Details
- FIFO position in Western Australia.
- 3:1 roster.
- Mobilisation expected within one month.
- Accommodation, meals, and site arrangements will be confirmed before deployment.
Pay: $55.00 – $65.00 per hour
