Our trusted reputation is built on a history of an experienced team and person-centred care. We care for our residents and clients across 34 facilities throughout metropolitan Perth and regional Western Australia and look after each individual in the way they want to be cared for.
We are currently seeking experienced Kitchen Hands to join the team providing support services at Bethanie Beachside Aged Care Home located in Yanchep.
To be successful in this role, you will have experience or an interest in food preparation and be of a friendly nature, as interaction with our residents is core to our culture.
The role will be offered on a casual basis.
About You
- Previous experience as a Kitchen Hand, ideally in an aged care, hospital or similar environment
- Willingness to uphold the Mission, Vision and Values of The Bethanie Group
- Willingness to obtain relevant vaccinations
- Current NDIS Worker Screening Check (or willingness to apply for one)
The Role
- Ensuring responsible work practices of food preparation, kitchen cleanliness and hygiene standards
- Ensuring required ingredients are available daily
- Assisting in the preparation and serving of meals
- Maintaining all utensils, equipment, work benches and general surrounds in a clean and safe condition
- Collecting and washing pots, pans, crockery and cutlery
