About the Role

It remains one of the nation’s most respected hospitals, with a distinguished history serving the health needs of local, statewide, national and international communities. This position is located at Professor Marie Bashir Centre, RPAH.
The Social Work Team Leader - Mental Health provides leadership of the social work department at the Professor Marie Bashir Centre (PMBC).

Ideal Candidate
- Advanced social work practice in working with individuals, families and/or groups,including an understanding of assessment and counselling skills in a mental health service.
- Excellent communication and problem solving skills and the capacity to work effectively as part of a multidisciplinary team.
- Demonstrates a commitment to and understanding of leadership, guidance and line management. In addition, has participated in the development of policies and procedures as well as planning, implementing and evaluating services or programs.
