We are currently looking for a Underground Mine Geologist, based in Western Australia, we are offering this opportunity on a permanent basis with most opportunities based around an 8:6 roster.
The role:

Supporting the safe, efficient and profitable extraction of ore by delivering high-quality geological expertise that underpins operational success.
- Work closely with client Geology and operational teams, collect, analyse and interpret geological data used to develop accurate geological models
- Use your technical expertise in drilling, geological mapping and sampling to make informed, business-critical recommendations that optimise ore recovery, support production targets and contribute to the ongoing success of the operation.
About you:

A solid understanding of geological principles, processes and a range of ore deposit types within a mining environment.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to effectively communicate technical information to a variety of stakeholders.
- Excellent organisational and time management skills, with the ability to manage competing priorities and consistently meet deadlines.
- Well-developed analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret geological data and make informed recommendations.
- The ability to work autonomously while also collaborating effectively within a multidisciplinary team environment.
- Experience using 3D modelling software
- Experience in underground development face mapping and sampling
- Geological and grade control logging experience
You will hold a Bachelor of Science degree in Geology (or similar) and ideally have 2+ years working in gold operations. You are a motivated and technically capable geologist with a passion for delivering high-quality geological outcomes in a mining environment.
