Join a team where compassion, dignity and connection guide every interaction. At Coolamon Villa, our warm 50 bed residential aged care home in the heart of Mullumbimby, you’ll play a meaningful role in supporting older people to live the life they choose.
As a Personal Care Assistant, you’ll help create a safe, connected, home like environment where residents feel respected, supported, and valued. You will:
- Assist with personal care, including showering, grooming and dressing
- Support residents with daily tasks, meals and meaningful social activities
- Work closely with the clinical team to deliver personalised care plans
- Maintain accurate documentation to support resident health and wellbeing
- Provide exceptional service to residents, families, and the broader community
What You Bring
- Certificate III in Aged Care (or equivalent)
- Preference will be given to PCAs who have completed medication competency training as part of their Certificate III or Certificate IV studies
- A warm, compassionate approach and genuine passion for supporting older people
- Confidence engaging with a diverse range of people
- Strong communication skills and a reliable team mindset
- Understanding of safe work practices
- Willingness to complete a Police Check and NDIS Clearance
