What you'll be doing
The purpose of a Clinical Trial Coordinator Registered Nurse is to work in a team environment, managing a caseload of patients participating in Oncology and Haematology Clinical trials.
Ensuring research is conducted in accordance with the protocol, ethical requirements and guidelines for Good Clinical Practice to achieve high quality data for research whilst also practicing and promoting safe, efficient and effective nursing care that reflects current standards of nursing practices and current Mid North Coast Local Health District policies and procedures.
About You
You describe yourself as a clinician who brings current registration with the Nursing and Midwifery Board of Australia and applies that professional foundation confidently in the specialised world of oncology care. You demonstrate strong oncology nursing skills and the ability to work within clinical trials, showing that you can navigate complex protocols while still keeping patient wellbeing at the centre. Your venipuncture and phlebotomy abilities add to your versatility, allowing you to support treatment pathways smoothly and safely.
You show proven clinical problem solving by responding to rapidly changing patient needs, interpreting clinical cues and making decisions that optimise outcomes. Your communication is clear, compassionate and clinically effective, using information technology, documentation and interpersonal skills to ensure patients, families and colleagues remain informed and supported.
You thrive in a multidisciplinary environment, coordinating care and contributing to outcome‑based planning that aligns treatment goals with patient priorities. You bring a steady, thoughtful presence to oncology care, combining technical skill with empathy and precision.
