Assistant Account Manager – Commercial Insurance
A highly respected and established insurance brokerage is seeking two experienced Assistant Account Managers to join its growing Commercial Insurance division.

The Opportunities
Assistant Account Manager – Commercial Team supporting a Commercial Team Leader managing a portfolio generating approximately $550,000 in income.
Assistant Account Manager – Enterprise Team supporting a Senior Account Manager managing a portfolio generating approximately $700,000 in income, providing exposure to larger and more complex commercial risks.
Both positions offer significant learning opportunities, mentorship from experienced brokers and a clear pathway toward future Account Management responsibilities. Working closely with an Account Manager, you will assist in the management and servicing of commercial clients while helping to retain and grow the portfolio.
Key responsibilities include:
- Managing renewals, endorsements, and day-to-day client servicing
- Reviewing policy documentation and schedules
- Liaising with insurers and negotiating terms for new business and renewals
- Building strong relationships with clients, insurers, and internal stakeholders
- Ensuring compliance and documentation requirements are met
- Assisting with portfolio growth and retention strategies
About You
- Previous experience in commercial insurance, particularly within the SME market
- Experience as an Assistant Account Manager, Assistant Broker, Broker Assistant, or similar
- Strong customer service and relationship management skills
- Ability to work both independently and as part of a team
- Tier 1 or Tier 2 qualification highly regarded
