Experienced Pizza Chef – Busy Italian Restaurant (Birrong Area)
We are seeking an experienced and passionate Pizza Chef to join our busy Italian restaurant located in the Birrong area. Immediate start available,competitive wages based on experience, must have weekend and evening availability.
This position is available on either a part-time or full-time basis for the right applicant.
About the Role:
- Preparing and cooking traditional pizzas in a fast-paced environment.
- Hand-stretching and opening pizza bases to a consistent standard.
- Managing pizza orders during busy service periods.
- Maintaining high food quality and presentation standards.
- Ensuring cleanliness and food safety procedures are followed.
Essential Requirements:
- Minimum 3 years’ experience working as a pizza chef.
- Strong experience in opening pizza by hand.
- Proven ability in the cooking and finishing of pizzas.
- Ability to work efficiently in a busy kitchen environment.
- Reliable, punctual, and able to work as part of a team.
- Must have Australian working rights
Please Note:
This role does not involve making pizza dough, as dough preparation is completed separately. However, experience in hand-stretching, topping, and cooking pizzas is essential.
