Inspired by Australia’s great people and vibrant food culture, Chobani Australia was formed in 2011 following the acquisition of Gippsland Dairy alongside the Chobani brand. Flash forward 15 years and Chobani is Australia’s #1 yogurt brand, living in the hearts (and tummies) of fans across the country.
At Chobani it’s always been about more than yogurt. Access to delicious and nutritious food should be a right, not a privilege.
Chobani Australia is building the next chapter of growth - investing in major site upgrades and new capability to meet demand and deliver on our aspiration: in every fridge, everywhere, every day. Yogurt is one of the fastest growing categories in Australian grocery, driven by high protein, healthy options and convenient formats, creating genuine growth opportunities for our customers and our team.
The Role
This is a hands-on, highly varied role where you’ll be the face and heartbeat of the site, acting as the first point of contact for visitors, employees and contractors, while keeping the office running smoothly day to day.
Based at Reception, but rarely behind the desk for long, you’ll be across a mix of front of house, administration and facilities support tasks. You’ll work closely with teams right across the business, ensuring a seamless and delightful experience for anyone interacting with the site, and supporting the Office & Facilities Manager with operational coordination.
This is a permanent, office based role, working onsite 5 days per week, with some flexibility to consider the hours worked across the week.
Your key responsibilities will include:
Welcoming visitors, contractors and candidates, ensuring a professional and friendly experience
-
Managing onsite yogurt fridge stock, including replenishment, weekly ordering and maintaining presentation standards
-
Managing reception, including sign-in processes, managing phone calls and general enquiries
-
Coordinating couriers, deliveries, mail and internal distribution
-
Managing contractor inductions and site access requirements
-
Ordering and maintaining office supplies, kitchen items and workplace amenities
-
Supporting meeting room coordination, catering and internal events
-
Assisting with purchase orders and invoice reconciliation
-
Maintaining clean, organised and well-functioning office and kitchen spaces
-
Supporting general office, facilities and event coordination activities as required
-
This role suits someone who enjoys variety, takes pride in their environment, and is happy to roll up their sleeves to ensure everything runs smoothly behind the scenes.
About You

You’ll also bring:
- 2+ years’ experience in office administration, coordination or similar roles
- Strong communication skills, with the ability to engage confidently with a wide range of stakeholders
- A high level of organisation and the ability to manage multiple priorities at once
- Initiative and sound judgement, including the confidence to manage expectations and seek the right information before progressing requests
- A hands-on approach and willingness to support across all aspects of office operations
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (experience with PO systems such as AX is desirable)
- An interest in facilities or workplace operations will be highly regarded
