About the Role
We are seeking a highly organised and solutions-focused Production Scheduler to join our Ormeau manufacturing operation on a 12–14 month maternity leave contract, with the potential to transition to a permanent position.
In this role, you will take ownership of end-to-end production planning, ensuring that labour, materials, and equipment are aligned to meet customer demand, delivery targets, and operational performance in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities-
Manage and optimise the production schedule from planning through to daily execution

Develop short-term production plans and adjust in real time based on changing priorities

Balance demand with labour, machine capacity, and materials availability

Coordinate with Production, Supply Chain, Maintenance, Quality, and Warehouse teams

Maintain accurate data in SAP (or similar ERP), including BOMs, routings, and work orders

Support DIFOT targets and communicate any impacts to delivery timelines
About You-
Experience in production scheduling/planning within a manufacturing environment

Strong ERP/MRP knowledge (SAP highly regarded)

Advanced Excel skills and strong numerical capability

Understanding of production workflows, capacity planning, and inventory principles

Confident problem-solver with the ability to respond quickly to change

Strong communicator who works well across multiple teams
