About the Role:
As a Medical Receptionist at UFS Healthcare, you will:
- Work across both our reception teams and centralised call centre, supporting patients however they choose to connect with us.
- Deliver high-quality customer service, ensuring a positive experience for our patients at every touchpoint.
- Manage patient bookings, enquiries, and administrative tasks using Zedmed.
- Work in a dynamic environment where responsibilities may vary day to day across both reception and call centre functions.
- Prioritise and manage your workload effectively, contributing to the smooth running of the practice.
This role is based across our 4 Ballarat locations, with weekday hours only (no evenings or weekends). Full-time and part-time hours are available and can be discussed based on your availability.
What You'll Need:
- Previous experience in medical reception is preferred but not essential — full training provided.
- No formal qualification required.
- Experience with Zedmed (or a similar practice management system) is highly regarded.
- Known for your excellent customer service skills and ability to build relationships with patients.
- Able to prioritise tasks and manage your own workload effectively across varying duties.
- A strong communicator, both verbally and in writing.
