The Opportunity
We are seeking an experienced Senior HR Advisor/Business Partner to join our Australian operations in Perth CBD . Reporting to the Managing Director, this is a unique opportunity for an HR professional who is comfortable managing day-to-day HR operations while partnering with senior leaders on strategic people initiatives. As the primary HR resource supporting the Australian business unit, you will play a critical role in delivering full spectrum HR services while ensuring alignment with corporate strategies, programs, and processes. You will act as a trusted advisor to leaders, providing practical guidance and helping drive organizational effectiveness, employee engagement, and business performance.
Key Responsibilities
Strategic Business Partnership
Partner with leadership to align talent strategies, workforce plans, and succession initiatives with business objectives.
Coach and influence leaders on performance management, employee relations, leadership effectiveness, and organizational change.
Support employee engagement, talent development, and culture initiatives that strengthen organizational capability.
Full-cycle Human Resource Management
Manage the full employee lifecycle, including recruitment, onboarding, employee relations, performance management, development, and offboarding.
Ensure compliance with Australian employment legislation, company policies, and governance requirements.
Provide timely, practical HR guidance and support to leaders and employees on day-to-day people matters.
Maintain accurate employee records, HR data, and documentation with a high degree of attention to detail.
Support HR projects and continuous improvement initiatives across the business.
Administer end-to-end payroll processes for the business unit, serving as the primary point of contact for all payroll-related matters, including employee inquiries, payroll reporting, audits, reconciliations, compliance requirements, and coordination with internal and external stakeholders to ensure accurate and timely payroll delivery.
Maintain workforce training and competency records, ensuring compliance with role requirements, regulatory obligations, certifications, and recertification deadlines.
Coordinate training activities and collaborate with Operations and HSE teams to support workforce readiness, offshore deployment requirements, and audit compliance.
Corporate Program Implementation
Drive the successful local implementation of corporate HR programs, initiatives, and processes.
Act as the link between the corporate HR function and the Australian business, ensuring consistent application of global policies while meeting local business needs.
Support change management and communication efforts related to organizational and HR initiatives.

What You Need to Succeed
Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
8 years of experience as a HR Business Partner or HR Advisor.
Strong understanding of HR best practices, Fair Work Act, and Australian employment legislation.
Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
Proven ability to build trust and influence through coaching and consultation.
Strategic mindset with the ability to work independently in a standalone HR role.
Previous experience in the Energy sector supporting an operating offshore asset is highly desirable.
Experience with Workday or other HRIS and training management systems is an asset.
