We are seeking a Senior Information Officer to join our Corporate Governance Team, the role provides record and information management support to Tweed Shire Council.
Candidates with a high level of transferable administrative skills will be considered, direct records management experience is not essential.
- Provide high-quality records and information management services by implementing, maintaining, and continuously improving records management policies, procedures, and guidance to support compliance, accountability, and effective business operations.
- Assist with Council’s obligations under the Government Information (Public Access) Act 2009 (GIPA Act)
- Provide records and information management support to Council.
- An attractive base salary ranging from $64,608 per annum with competency based increments up to $74,025 per week, plus 12% super
This rate includes the 2026 Award increase, which is effective from the 4 July 2026.

This position is based in Murwillumbah, and can be directed to work from any Council work site.
