Extensive knowledge and experience as a qualified Technician and/or Master Technician working within a busy dealership workshop

Ability to problem-solve with technicians and articulate clear and concise solutions

Works well in a team environment

Strong leadership and coaching skills

Excellent customer service skills

Must hold an Automotive Mechanical Trade qualification recognised in Australia

Must have full work rights in Australia

Hold a manual driver’s licence

Reporting to the Service Manager, your key responsibilities will include:
-
Ensuring communication between the service counter and technicians
-
Allocating work to technicians, managing productivity and efficiency within the workshop
-
On-the-job training and mentoring of workshop employees
-
Ensuring that technicians’ work is checked off prior to leaving the workshop
-
Assisting with driveway diagnostics

Placing the customer experience at the centre of all activities
To be considered for this position, you will need the following experience and attributes:

Excellent customer service skills, including in person, in writing, and over the telephone

A high level of accuracy and attention to detail

A positive attitude with the ability to adapt to the ever-changing environment of a busy workshop

A minimum of 2 years’ experience in a similar role within a dealership workshop
