The Opportunity We are seeking experienced, trauma-informed Support Workers to assist NDIS participants with high physical and complex behavioural needs.
Key Responsibilities
- Support clients with psychosocial disabilities, ASD, OCD, and intellectual disabilities.
- Implement Behaviour Support Plans (BSPs) safely within restrictive practice guidelines.
- Provide personal care, daily living assistance, and community access support.
- Manage PEG feeding and hoist transfers (experience preferred; comprehensive training provided).
About You
- Proven background in high and complex support, remaining calm in challenging situations.
- Comfortable providing dedicated personal and physical care with respect and dignity.
- Highly reliable with excellent communication skills and flexibility for morning, evening, and weekend shifts.
Requirements
- Cert III or IV in Disability, Mental Health, or Community Services.
- NDIS Worker Screening Check & National Police Check (issued within 6 months).
- Working with Vulnerable People (WWVP).
- Current First Aid & CPR certificates.
