Primary Responsibilities:
-
Purchasing and procurement
-
Negotiating with suppliers to obtain the best deal for Capral
-
Conduct on-site inductions for all contractors and new starters to the mill as required
-
Assistance with Integrated Management System upkeep and update, liaising with national WHS
-
Organise and maintain consumable levels in consultation with area managers
-
Book travel arrangements when requested
-
Organise meeting rooms, catering needs, maintenance for office and office equipment, etc.

Basic accounting and accounts payable tasks including:
-
coding invoices for approval
-
handling vendor/ supplier queries
-
Assisting with the motor vehicle and mobile plant fleet management
-
Assisting with cost control and quote/ contract management
-
Reports to be prepared as required
-
General administration tasks as requested by the Business Manager
-
Stock taking and end of month reporting for the Integrated Management System as required
About You:
You will be a self-motivated Administrator who thrives working in a high-performance culture.
To be considered applicants MUST have:
-
previous experience in a manufacturing industry
-
high level data entry skills
-
excellent attention to detail
-
a reliable / stable work history with a good attitude to safety
-
attention to detail; and an ability to work autonomously
-
the ability to express yourself clearly and concisely in verbal and written communication
Desirable Skills:
-
Knowledge of ERP systems (SAP) and database management
