Here at Gnocchi Gnocchi Brothers we are looking for a Chef/Cook who is passionate about food, customer service, and who is equally passionate about working in a high performing team that works in a fast paced environment.
We are looking to immediately fill a permanent full-time position.
The roll requires someone with attention to details and the ability of solving problems in a busy environment.
The duties you will be expected to complete in this position include, but are not limited to:
- Preparing, cooking and presenting dishes as per our standards.
- Ensuring customer satisfaction and experience by delivering quality dishes to the same high standard each and every time.
- Monitoring stock levels and ordering accordingly to ensure cost-effectiveness as well as monitoring food preservation and rotation to ensure minimal wastage.
- Assisting and training kitchen staff in understanding dish preparation and ingredients.
- Aiding in the selection and full training of kitchen staff until every employee fully understands the mission and vision of our restaurant.
- Managing kitchen staff and ensuring all roles are covered as well as ensure a effective service.
- Ensure health regulations are met at all times by all kitchen and back of house staff.\
We require require the following:
- Candidate posses at least 1 year of experience in a similar role.
- Be consistent, committed and able to work in a team
- Be able to perform well under pressure without compromising the quality and standards of our restaurant.

Pay: $70,000.00 – $85,804.59 per year
