About the Portfolio
The Governance and Assurance Portfolio supports and enables governance, compliance and institutional assurance at UNE. The Portfolio aggregates the University's governance functions with its assurance functions, including standards, frameworks and regulatory oversight. It encompasses the Office of the Chief Governance Officer, the Secretariat team, the Internal Audit function, the Records team, the Policy team, the Governance team, and the Self-Assurance function incorporating TEQSA registration and risk management. The Portfolio is led by the Chief Governance Officer, who also serves as Chief Audit Executive and University Secretary. You will be joining a small, high-performing team that operates at the intersection of strategy, accountability and institutional integrity, supporting the governing body, the executive and the University community through a period of significant change.
