Your new role
The IT Support Technician is responsible for ensuring the continued delivery and availability of IT services across Wintringham. This role drives delivery of the internal IT helpdesk, working with external managed service providers and raising IT service concerns to Service Delivery. The role requires broad experience across IT infrastructure, applications, and security, with a strong focus on collaboration and continuous improvement.
Other duties and responsibilities and duties include:
- Provide timely IT support through helpdesk, phone, and ticketing systems, ensuring service levels are met.
- Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues across multiple locations, with remote and onsite support as required.
- Install, configure, maintain, and manage end-user devices, software, hardware, and technology lifecycles.
- Collaborate with vendors and service providers, maintain technical documentation, and support cyber security and information security requirements.
- Contribute to IT projects, continuous improvement, technology strategy delivery, and business continuity/disaster recovery activities.
We are looking for candidates with the following:
- Relevant tertiary qualification in Information Technology, Computer Science, Information Systems or a related discipline or equivalent demonstrated professional experience
- Demonstrated experience providing Level 1 and 2 IT support in Microsoft environments, including Windows, Microsoft 365, Active Directory, and Entra ID.
- Experience supporting networking technologies (LAN, WiFi, 4G/5G, SD-WAN) and end-user devices across Windows, Android, and iOS platforms
- Proven ability to support users across multiple sites, with willingness to travel as required
- Strong customer service, communication, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills. Including the ability to manage competing priorities, work flexibly, and participate in an on-call roster
