FinXL IT is seeking a Senior Delivery Manager to join our consulting team and be deployed with a leading telecommunications client on a regulatory driven initiative relating to consumer protection.
Responsibilities
Lead end-to-end delivery of complex programs from initiation through to the commencement of benefit realisation.
Support transitioning large clauses of regulatory obligations from an industry code into strict operational standards.
Partner with technical delivery managers across digital, IT, and network streams for end-to-end planning.
Identify, track, and report on program costs within agreed budget tolerances for portfolios valued at $3M+.
Establish and run effective governance structures including steering committees and reporting cadences.
Proactively manage program risks, mitigate complex issues, track dependencies, and drive capacity planning.
Manage change advisory compliance and ensure effective operational handover for business-as-usual operations.
Key Skills & Experience

Experience as a Delivery Manager working in consumer protection, codes and regulatory compliance mandates.

Deep understanding of compliance impacts on billing, credit, and customer interaction frameworks.

Demonstrated track record independently delivering complex programs end-to-end within large matrix environments.

Advanced stakeholder leadership skills to influence, align, and negotiate across teams from frontline to C-suite.

Strong financial management capability, including budget tracking.

Proficiency across Waterfall, hybrid, and Agile delivery methodologies using Jira or PPM Pro.

Telecommunications experience is desirable.

Advanced governance and reporting skills - establishing steering committees, risk and dependency management, and live program dashboards

Advanced change impact assessment capability - assessing people, process, and technology impacts to inform planning and mitigate risk across transformation programs

Demonstrated vendor and partner management experience - including performance oversight, relationship management, and SOW accountability

Confident working across Waterfall, hybrid and agile delivery methodologies; hands-on experience with delivery tooling including Jira, PPM Pro, and Microsoft Project.
