Role Summary
We're looking for a motivated and passionate Dance Coach/Teacher to deliver PDHPE dance lessons to primary school students in the Leichhardt area, starting Term 3, 2026. Friday availability required.
You'll be joining a close-knit team of dedicated teachers and coaches who pride themselves on making lessons fun, energetic, and meaningful for kids. Our team is committed to helping students stay positive, grow their skills, and build lasting confidence.
This is a rewarding opportunity to gain valuable coaching experience in a supportive, inclusive, and fun environment — all while helping young students discover a love of movement and dance.
Requirements:
- 1 year of dance teaching/coaching experience.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
- Availability during school hours of 8:30-3:30 pm
- Valid Working with Children Check
- Eligibility to work in Australia
- Punctuality and the ability to work autonomously and as part of a team.
- Fun, energetic, thoughtful, and ambitious.
Preferred but not required:
- Dance/Gymnastics/Athletics/FMS/Ball Skills teaching experience: 1 year
- Level 1 or higher coaching accreditation in Dance, Gymnastics, and Athletics particularly.
- Driver's Licence and own transport
