Your new role:
As a Senior Psychologist, you'll provide expert psychological assessment, intervention and consultation services to patients accessing the Metabolic Surgery Assessment Clinic and associated Endocrinology services. Working within a highly collaborative multidisciplinary team, you'll play a key role in delivering patient-centred care while contributing to service development, quality improvement, research and clinical education activities.
Key Responsibilities
Deliver high-quality psychology assessment, therapy and evaluation services
Manage a complex clinical caseload with a high degree of professional autonomy
Provide specialist psychological input within multidisciplinary case discussions
Contribute to the development of evidence-based clinical practices and protocols

You are an experienced and compassionate psychologist who thrives in a multidisciplinary healthcare environment. You bring advanced clinical skills, strong communication abilities and a commitment to evidence-based practice. You enjoy mentoring others, driving service improvements and delivering exceptional patient outcomes.
Advanced experience delivering psychology services within complex clinical settings
Strong knowledge of evidence-based assessment and therapeutic interventions
Excellent communication, consultation and stakeholder engagement skills
Experience managing complex caseloads and competing clinical priorities
Demonstrated capability to supervise, mentor and develop junior staff and students

About us:
Psychologists, Clinical Psychologists, Clinical Neuropsychologists and Health Psychologists are employed within the Psychology Department, Division of Allied Health & Rehabilitation, and within outreach and specialist services including the Acquired Brain Injury Outreach Service, Transitional Rehabilitation Service, Alcohol and Drug Assessment Unit, Rehabilitation In-reach Team, Pathways Team and Persistent Pain Service. They are also integrated into the QEII Hospital and service units and teams within the Metro South Addictions & Mental Health Service and Queensland Transcultural Mental Health Service.
