eBay is the first and leading destination for fashion re-commerce and we are looking for a Watch Authenticator to help deliver trusted experiences to our luxury customers.
Our team is responsible for the authentication experience at eBay. We know that luxury buyers want the real deal and eBay’s Authenticity Guarantee provides peace of mind when shopping online.

In this role you will be responsible for upholding buyer trust in watches at eBay, delivering an elevated experience to customers.
- Inspect and authenticate watches, watch accessories and collateral adhering to strict standards and processes
- Utilise expertise in vintage and modern watches to confirm an item's authenticity by locating brand identifiers
- Evaluate the quality of materials and construction of watches (i.e. components, movements, materials and models across luxury brands)
- Keep detailed notes and enter accurate data into our authentication database, including release information, product SKUs and production dates
- Work with eBay software and technology systems to assess and document orders throughout the operational process. Keep detailed notes and enter accurate data into our authentication database, including release information, product SKUs, production dates and condition of orders
- Preparing and packaging orders to meet global standards, for shipment to customers globally
- Knowledge of watches across all brands, including modern and vintage luxury watches
- Demonstrate desire to keep up to date with changes, advances and trends in the watch industry
- An eye for detail, with a precise and analytical mindset
- Comfortable with technology platforms
- Highly organized with demonstrated attention to detail
- Dedicated to empowering the team around them and behaving inclusively in all that they do

- Ability to work autonomously as well as part of a team
- Ability to work in a fast-paced and high-volume environment, meeting set SLAs
- Must be available and willing to work extended hours as occasionally needed, including weekends and holidays, to meet business needs
- Must be able to hold and move boxes (up to 20kg)
- Prior experience of authentication desired
