The opportunity
Due to ongoing demand, we have an exciting opportunity for a reliable and motivated Cable Assembler and Factory Hand to join our team focusing on the production line to ensure the factory meets production targets.
What does the job involve?
- Assemble mechanical control cables following company quality standards.
- Perform day-to-day factory operations as directed by supervisors.
- Maintain a steady, efficient, and acceptable rate of production.
- Keep your dedicated workspace neat, tidy, and safe.
- Complete all assembly and warehouse duties in a timely manner.

- Aptitude: Basic mechanical aptitude is highly preferred
- Safety First: Strong awareness of workshop safety and compliance
- Attitude: A strong work ethic, a sense of humour, and a willingness to learn
- Skills: Good attention to detail with clear verbal and written English skills
- Flexibility: Ability to handle multi-tasking and work independently when required
- Licences: A current Forklift licence is a distinct advantage, but not essential
What hours of work are required?
- This role will commence on a casual basis
- Commencing at 2 days per week for 7 hours per day or as negotiated
- Overtime / extra hours as required
