The Department of Health, Disability and Ageing is looking for a person with strong leadership skills and a desire to achieve outcomes for the Northern Territory (NT) to lead our Sector Support team. As an Assistant Director in the Northern Territory Local Network Office, you will lead a team to perform a range of functions contributing to program assurance and stewardship of the health and aged care systems.
Key responsibilities:

Lead and coordinate a high performing team to support the aged care sector in the NT.

Work in partnership with local stakeholders to support solution brokerage and delivery of program outcomes.

Identify and report on emerging issues and risks, develop and deliver risk management and mitigation activities.

Support aged care providers to provide service continuity though emergency events.

Identify and develop opportunities for market growth in the NT aged care sector.

Represent the department at engagements including with service providers, consumers, NT government and other commonwealth agencies.

Gather intelligence and report on departmental programs outcomes and the local conditions which impact service delivery.
