MF TradeSync Industries Pty Ltd is seeking expressions of interest from an experienced Refrigeration & Air Conditioning Mechanic / HVAC Technician for potential upcoming project work in Cobar, NSW.
The project is currently anticipated to commence around 20 October 2026, with the final commencement date and project scope still to be confirmed.
About the Project
The work is expected to involve a split cooling system associated with a ventilation shaft at an industrial/mining project site in Cobar.
Depending on the final scope, duties may include:
- Installation and connection of split cooling system equipment
- Refrigeration pipework and associated components
- Installation and connection of HVAC equipment
- Testing and commissioning
- Fault finding and system checks
- Assisting with general project installation works
- Working in accordance with site safety procedures and requirements
About You
We are interested in hearing from applicants with:
- Relevant Australian Refrigeration & Air Conditioning trade qualifications
- Current applicable refrigerant handling licence
- Experience with split-system installation and commissioning
- Commercial or industrial refrigeration/HVAC experience
- Strong fault-finding skills
- Current driver's licence
- Construction White Card
- Strong commitment to workplace safety
Mining, heavy industrial or remote project experience would be highly regarded.
Additional licences and tickets relevant to the work will also be viewed favourably.
The Opportunity
This is expected to be short-term project work based in Cobar, NSW, commencing around 20 October 2026 (TBC).
The opportunity may suit an experienced refrigeration mechanic who is available for project-based work or a self-employed contractor interested in taking on additional projects.
Travel and accommodation arrangements will be discussed with shortlisted applicants once the project requirements are confirmed.
There may also be opportunities for future project work with MF TradeSync Industries across Australia for the right person.
