We are seeking a skilled and motivated ICT and Operations Support Officer to provide technical assistance, user guidance and operational ICT support across the College. The successful candidate will help maintain computer infrastructure, software applications, learning platforms and peripheral equipment while diagnosing and resolving technical issues.
Salary Range: $80,000 - $100,000 per annum

Key Responsibilities:
· Respond to staff and student enquiries regarding computer hardware, software, email, network access and system-related problems.
· Diagnose and resolve technical issues affecting desktops, laptops, printers, peripheral equipment and software applications.
· Determine hardware and software requirements and recommend suitable solutions.
· Install, configure, update and maintain approved software, operating systems and computer equipment.
· Create and manage user accounts, passwords, permissions and access to authorised systems.
· Provide technical support for the Student Management System, Learning Management System and other digital platforms.
· Guide and educate users on the effective and secure use of ICT systems, applications and equipment.
· Monitor ICT support requests, maintain service records and escalate complex technical issues when required.
· Assist with maintaining network connectivity, internet access, shared drives and communication systems.
· Coordinate the repair or replacement of faulty computer equipment and peripherals.
· Support data backup, cybersecurity, system access and information-protection procedures.
· Maintain ICT asset registers, software licence records and technical documentation.
· Assist with website and online platform maintenance where required.
· Liaise with external ICT service providers regarding technical faults, system upgrades and equipment procurement.
Skills & Qualifications:
· Master’s degree in information technology, Computer Science, Networking, Systems Administration or a related field.
· At least two years of relevant professional experience in ICT customer support, help desk support or a similar technical role.
· Sound knowledge of computer hardware, software applications, operating systems, networks and peripheral equipment.
· Experience diagnosing and resolving hardware, software, user-access and connectivity issues.
· Familiarity with Microsoft 365, user-account administration, learning platforms and help desk systems.
· Strong technical troubleshooting, communication and organisational skills.
· Ability to explain technical information clearly to non-technical users.
· Ability to manage multiple support requests and maintain accurate ICT records.
· Experience within an education provider or RTO will be highly regarded.
