You’re someone who wants to create outcomes that have a real impact on the people of NSW.
This is your opportunity to broaden your experience and perspectives, step out of the confines of a standard project role and expand your scope to work with an interconnected ecosystem of industry professionals.
In this role, you'll:
Be working as part of a team delivering long-term, state-wide strategic planning, place-based planning, integrated network planning, corridor preservation, major projects, and aviation strategies and studies.
This role will see you provide strategic transport planning leadership and aviation expertise, supporting the development of transport and aviation planning strategies, business cases, airport safeguarding initiatives and integrated planning outcomes.
You'll play a key role in shaping the future of the aviation network, including its connections to the broader transport system, while contributing to the development of NSW's aviation plan.
Working across government, industry and Transport for NSW, you'll help influence evidence-based outcomes that align with NSW Government priorities and Connecting NSW objectives.
You will lead the delivery of strategic planning advice, complex analysis and stakeholder engagement in a multifaceted environment requiring collaboration across multi-disciplinary teams, government agencies, industry partners and senior decision-makers.

About you
Your strategic planning, program management, stakeholder engagement and relationship-building skills formed across transport planning, infrastructure, aviation, government or related sectors will see you excel in delivering complex planning initiatives, navigating competing priorities and bringing stakeholders together to achieve integrated, long-term outcomes.
You're recognised as a collaborative and influential professional, skilled at providing expert advice, building consensus and managing relationships across a broad range of stakeholders, experienced in strategic planning, evidence-based analysis, project delivery and working within complex government environments.
An interest in the aviation industry will be highly regarded, particularly an understanding of aviation networks, ground transport connections and the role of government in shaping future outcomes. Knowledge of how Transport for NSW and government decision-making processes operate will be advantageous.
This role is based at Milsons Point with standard hybrid workplace arrangements applying.
