Lox and Chain is a fast-growing e-commerce brand based in Byron Bay, NSW. We design and sell jewellery and accessories across global markets, managing end-to-end supply chain, inventory, and commercial operations from our Byron Bay headquarters.
About the role
We are seeking an experienced Operations Specialist to join our team on a full-time basis. This is a senior, cross-functional role requiring strong analytical capability, experience across supply chain and procurement functions, and the ability to produce strategic management reporting.
Key responsibilities
- Apply mathematical and statistical principles to analyse commercial and operational data, and prepare reports for senior management
- Manage inventory planning and stock control across warehouses and fulfilment centres
- Develop and implement pricing strategies, conducting market analysis and monitoring competitive pricing trends
- Manage procurement coordination, supplier relationships, and inbound shipment tracking
- Review and analyse economic and commercial data, producing strategic insights to support decision-making
- Monitor and report on fulfilment KPIs, service levels, and operational performance
- Study organisational structures and operational methods to identify efficiencies and solve organisational problems
- Manage the collection, processing, and maintenance of operational information and data
- Coordinate logistics, tariffs, and shipment tracking across courier and warehouse partners
Required qualifications and experience
- Bachelor degree or higher in Industrial Engineering, Business, Commerce, Supply Chain, or a related field
- Minimum 1 year full-time relevant work experience in the last 5 years in operations, supply chain, commercial analytics, or a similar role
- Advanced Excel or Google Sheets skills (data modelling, pivot tables, VLOOKUPs)
- Demonstrated experience in pricing analysis, inventory management, and operational reporting
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
- Experience with e-commerce, logistics, or supply chain environments preferred
What we offer
- Salary: AUD $85,000 – $95,000 per annum (commensurate with experience)
