Building Manager – Residential
Sydney | Full-Time | Residential Building Management & Leasing
Meriton is looking for experienced Building Managers to join our residential portfolio across Sydney.
This is a hands-on, customer-focused role suited to someone with experience managing residential buildings, building strong relationships with residents, owners and key stakeholders, coordinating contractors and maintenance, and delivering a high standard of customer service.
Residential leasing or property management experience is highly regarded, as our Building Managers are also involved in leasing activities within their allocated buildings.
The Role
As Building Manager, you will take ownership of the day-to-day operation, presentation and service standards of your building, including:
- Managing the daily operations and presentation of the building
- Building strong relationships with residents, owners and key stakeholders
- Providing exceptional customer service and responding professionally to resident and stakeholder enquiries
- Coordinating contractors, preventative maintenance, repairs and building services
- Supporting building, fire, safety and compliance requirements
- Maintaining accurate building records, reports and documentation
- Managing leasing activities, including inspections, applications and tenant enquiries
- Supporting resident move-ins and move-outs
- Proactively identifying and resolving operational issues
What We’re Looking For
- Previous experience in residential Building Management or a similar property-based role
- Strong customer service and stakeholder management skills
- Residential leasing or property management experience/exposure
- Sound knowledge of building maintenance and contractor coordination
- Excellent communication, organisation and follow-up skills
- A proactive, professional and solutions-focused approach
- Confidence taking ownership of a busy residential building
- Availability to work Saturday mornings for leasing when required
A current NSW Certificate of Registration in Real Estate is required for leasing activities. Candidates with strong relevant experience who do not currently hold the qualification may be considered if willing to obtain it prior to commencement.
Australian permanent full-time working rights and a satisfactory Police Check are required.

Opportunities are available across Sydney, including the Eastern Suburbs, Mascot, Waterloo, Macquarie Park, Lidcombe and other locations.
Site allocation will take into consideration your experience, location, travel requirements and operational needs.
