The successful candidate will be responsible for the installation, erection and repair of
temporary formwork structures that support the building process during construction
of concrete elements including walls, columns, stairs, lift shafts and decks.

Study drawings and specifications to determine materials, dimensions and installation procedures for formwork structures.
Read and interpret technical/construction drawings to ensure accurate construction of forms.
Order, select and prepare timber, plywood, lightweight steel and other formwork materials, and prepare layouts.
Measure, cut, shape and assemble formwork materials and cut wood joints
Erect, install and dismantle temporary formwork and falsework supporting concrete pours for walls, columns, stairs, lift shafts and decks.
Verify trueness, alignment and structural soundness of erected formwork prior to and during concrete placement.
Repair and maintain existing formwork and fittings.
Work safely in accordance with WHS requirements on active construction sites.
Qualification & experience
Certificate III or IV in relevant trade qualification, or a minimum of 3 years' relevant industry experience in lieu of formal qualification.
Demonstrated experience in commercial/residential formwork carpentry
Ability to read and interpret construction drawings and specifications
Current White Card (Construction Induction Card)
Sound understanding of WHS obligations on construction sites
