Every fridge tells a story. This one is ours – and it's getting bigger.
Chobani Australia was formed in 2011 following the acquisition of Gippsland Dairy, alongside the Chobani brand. Guided by our belief that food can be a force for good – and our purpose, Good Food For All – we make Chobani and Gippsland Dairy yoghurt in Dandenong South, focusing on food that's delicious, nutritious, natural and accessible.
We're building the next chapter of growth – investing in major site upgrades and new capability to meet demand and deliver on our aspiration: in every fridge, everywhere, every day.
Chobani is a place for people who like pace and ownership. We keep standards high, back people to stretch, and hire for attitude. If you set goals, deliver, learn fast and keep raising the bar, you'll feel right at home here.
The Opportunity
This is where great brands meet great execution.
We’re looking for an Account Manager – Independent Grocery to help grow Chobani and Gippsland Dairy across NSW’s independent grocery channel.
Sitting within our Sales team, you’ll own the day-to-day management of a portfolio of multi-site operators (MSOs) in NSW. This role will also support the National Business Manager with management of our merchandising team and promotional planning and forecasting at a national Metcash level.
You’ll be close to your customers, close to the numbers and close to what’s happening on the ground. From promotional execution and pricing through to ranging, availability and new store onboarding, you’ll connect the dots between Chobani and our customers to make things happen.
This is a role for someone who loves relationships but is equally comfortable rolling up their sleeves and getting into the detail.
This is a hands-on role where you will:
- Own the day-to-day relationship with your MSO and independent grocery customers across NSW
- Bring customer and promotional plans to life, ensuring brilliant execution across ranging, pricing, promotions and visibility
- Build strong, trusted relationships with store operators and key customer contacts
- Get out into stores regularly to understand what’s really happening and identify opportunities to improve execution
- Manage pricing, promotional spend, claims and customer administration accurately and on time
- Use sales, market and shopper insights to spot opportunities and turn them into meaningful commercial outcomes
- Support forecasting and work closely with Supply Chain to keep products on shelf and minimise out-of-stocks
- Help onboard new stores and customers, making sure everything is set up for success from day one
- Partner across Sales, Category, Shopper Marketing, Marketing, Finance and Supply Chain to get things done
Keep an eye on the bigger picture — growing sales, improving profitability and strengthening Chobani’s presence across Independent Grocery

Your Experience
What sets great Account Managers apart at Chobani isn’t just their ability to manage an account — it’s how they show up.
You’re commercially switched on, organised and comfortable taking ownership. You build genuine relationships, notice the details others miss and don’t wait for someone else to solve a problem.
You’re someone who:
- Has experience in a customer-facing or account-focused role within FMCG or a related industry
- Understands the retail environment and knows what great in-store execution looks like
- Builds strong, positive relationships with customers and retail partners
- Is comfortable managing the detail — pricing, promotions, claims, reporting and account administration
- Can interpret data and turn it into practical customer and commercial actions
- Works well across different teams and knows how to bring people together to deliver an outcome
- Can juggle multiple priorities without losing sight of the detail
- Communicates clearly, follows through and takes pride in doing what you say you’ll do
Has a valid driver’s licence and is happy being out in market, visiting customers and stores across NSW

A degree in Business, Marketing or a related discipline is great, but what matters most is your commercial mindset, customer instinct and ability to execute.
