We're currently looking for reliable, hard-working casual Event Build Crew and licensed LF Forklift Operators to join our contractor pool across Brisbane and the Gold Coast.
This is a casual on call position, with shifts offered based on upcoming events and operational requirements. Hours will vary from week to week, making this role ideal for people looking for flexible work.
About the Role
You'll be part of the crew responsible for delivering major events from start to finish. Duties may include:
- Setting up and dismantling exhibition stands, furniture and event infrastructure
- Loading and unloading trucks
- General manual handling
- Assisting site supervisors with event installations
- Operating an LF forklift (licensed operators only)
- Maintaining a safe and professional work environment
What We're Looking For
We're looking for people who are:
- Reliable, punctual and able to commit to shifts they accept
- Physically fit and comfortable with manual work
- Positive, proactive and able to work well in a team
- Comfortable following instructions and working in a fast-paced environment
- Available for early mornings, late nights, weekends and occasional overnight shifts
Highly Regarded
- Previous experience in events, exhibitions, construction, warehousing or logistics
- Current LF Forklift Licence
- White Card
- Own reliable transport
Pay
- Event Build Crew: From $33 per hour (plus applicable penalties where relevant)
- LF Forklift Operators: Higher rates may apply depending on experience, qualifications and the requirements of the role.
Training
Site-specific training and inductions will be provided where required before commencing work.
