We are seeking a motivated and reliable Fire Safety Trainee to join our team and support the delivery of Council’s Building Fire Safety Program. This is a fantastic opportunity to gain practical experience whilst working towards a Certificate II in Fire Protection Inspection and Testing.
You’ll support essential fire safety activities, from assisting with inspections and audits to helping develop and maintain emergency evacuation plans, ensuring buildings and communities remain safe and compliant. With a mix of office-based and on-site work, no two days are the same. To be eligible for this role, applicants must be:
- Aged 15 years or older and no longer at school.
- Able to meet citizen, residency, and visa requirements to undertake a traineeship.
- C Class Driver Licence
This position requires the completion of a satisfactory Criminal History Check - Police Certificate (Australia Wide Name Only Police Check).
