Job Description
Why this role matters
The Administration Manager plays a critical role in how our hospital feels to patients and staff. From the moment someone walks through our doors to the final stage of their journey, your team helps define their experience.
You will:

Lead a large, multidisciplinary administration team across front office, wards, theatres, emergency department and day services

Drive a culture of service excellence, accountability, and continuous improvement

Play a key part in modernising processes and driving meaningful change
-
Ensure our hospital runs smoothly, efficiently, and with a strong patient-first mindset
This is a leadership role with real impact on people and patient experiences.
There are also the usual operational aspects you’d expect to ensure the smooth running of the team and wider hospital.

Manage rostering, workforce planning, and team capability development

Drive improvements in systems, workflows, and service delivery

Ensure excellence in billing, revenue cycle processes, and compliance
-
Oversee daily administrative operations across the hospital

Partner with clinical and executive leaders to improve patient experience

Embed a mindset of continuous improvement and innovation across your team
About you
We’re deliberately open-minded about background. Healthcare experience is highly regarded, but cultural fit and people management are key.
You will likely bring:

Proven experience leading large teams in complex administrative environments

A strong track record in people leadership, engagement, and culture building

Experience driving change, transformation, or process improvement

The ability to balance operational discipline with a human, people-first approach

Excellent communication skills and the confidence to influence across all levels
