The Opportunity
We are seeking an experienced Demand Planner to join our Supply Chain team and support effective demand planning and product availability across our global business.
In this role, you will analyse sales, inventory and demand data to develop accurate forecasts, support effective inventory management and help align supply with business and customer needs. Working closely with the Supply Chain team and stakeholders across the business, you will identify trends, anticipate future demand and recommend actions that support better planning decisions.
This role suits someone comfortable working with ambiguity and changing priorities. You'll be expected to work independently through loosely defined problems, clarify what is needed and bring forward clear recommendations. Strong reporting skills are important, but the real value comes from interpreting data, identifying what matters and translating it into action.
This is a full-time (on site), permanent position based at our Osborne Park office.
Responsibilities:
What You’ll Do
-
Review historical sales trends and demand drivers to develop and maintain accurate demand forecasts.
-
Develop and maintain forecasting models and regularly review forecast performance and accuracy.
-
Interpret forecast, sales and inventory data to identify risks, opportunities and recommended actions.
-
Collaborate with Sales, Marketing, Finance, Manufacturing and Supply Chain teams to understand demand drivers and align on forecasts.
-
Drive fabric forecasting to support the timely and efficient purchasing of materials.
-
Work closely with Supply Planning to ensure production and inventory are aligned with demand forecasts and local warehouse requirements.
-
Develop inventory strategies for existing and new products, monitor global inventory risks and advise on appropriate actions.
-
Coordinate with Design, Sampling and Purchasing teams to support the transition of new products into production.
-
Review factory capacity plans and propose adjustments to stock order strategies where required.
Qualifications:
What You’ll Bring
-
Previous experience in demand planning, supply planning or a similar analytical role.
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Supply Chain or a related discipline, or equivalent relevant experience.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with excellent attention to detail.
- A track record of using data insights to influence business decisions.
- Strong judgement and adaptability.
- Advanced Microsoft Excel skills and confidence working with complex datasets and analytical models.
- Strong organisational skills, with the ability to manage competing priorities and plan across weeks and months, not just immediate tasks.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to work collaboratively across teams.
- A proactive approach to improving processes and ways of working.
