Your Role
Responsibilites include, but are not limited to:
Provide individual and group counselling to students, parents, and families, delivering assessments, interventions, and ongoing support to address personal, social, and relationship concerns.
Identify the needs of students and families and coordinate referrals to relevant health, welfare, and community services to ensure appropriate support and intervention.
Strengthen school-community partnerships by engaging with parents/carers, promoting participation in school programs and activities, and acting as a key liaison between the school and community.
Plan and deliver educational presentations and initiatives that raise awareness of social issues affecting student wellbeing, engagement, and learning outcomes.
Monitor, evaluate, and review the effectiveness of programs and services within the educational setting, maintaining accurate and confidential records in accordance with departmental policies.
Collaborate within multidisciplinary teams to support students and school communities, including responding to critical incidents and emergencies and contributing to interagency networks and coordinated support services.
