We're seeking a Senior Peer Learning Coordinator to lead the development and delivery of UniSQ's peer learning programs. This is an exciting opportunity to shape innovative learning support initiatives, work collaboratively with academic and professional staff, and lead a team of Peer Facilitators who make a meaningful difference to the student experience. As the Senior Peer Learning Coordinator, you'll lead the development, implementation and evaluation of UniSQ's peer learning programs, ensuring they deliver meaningful outcomes for students and align with the University's student success priorities.
You'll recruit, train and support Peer Facilitators, partner with academic staff and Learning Advisors to embed peer learning opportunities within courses and programs, and develop mentoring initiatives that respond to the needs of diverse student cohorts. You'll also design engaging learning resources, lead projects and initiatives, and use data and evidence-informed practices to evaluate program effectiveness and identify opportunities for enhancement.
Through your leadership and expertise, you'll help strengthen students' academic confidence, engagement and success while contributing to a culture of innovation and continuous improvement.
To be successful in this role, you'll hold a degree in education or a related discipline, together with expertise in peer learning, student learning support, mentoring, academic development or a related field.
You'll bring demonstrated experience designing and delivering learning support programs, training and supporting students or staff, and developing engaging learning resources using contemporary educational technologies. Experience evaluating programs, applying evidence-informed practices and leading projects or initiatives will be valuable.
Most importantly, you'll bring strong relationship-building, communication and leadership skills, a commitment to inclusive and student-centred practice, and the ability to work collaboratively to deliver innovative solutions that enhance student success.
