About the Role
We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Bookkeeper to join our team. This role is ideal for someone who is confident managing payroll processes, understands superannuation obligations, and stays up to date with modern award rates. There is also a strong opportunity for the right candidate to expand into a broader accounting role over time.
Key Responsibilities
- Process end-to-end payroll accurately and on time
- Manage and reconcile superannuation payments in line with legislative requirements
- Monitor and apply current award rates, ensuring compliance with Fair Work regulations
- Maintain employee records and payroll documentation
- Respond to payroll-related queries from staff
- Assist with reporting and audits as required
- Support compliance with relevant employment laws and regulations
Skills & Experience
- Proven experience in payroll processing
- Strong understanding of superannuation and award interpretation
- High attention to detail and accuracy
- Ability to manage deadlines and prioritise tasks
- Familiarity with payroll or accounting software (e.g., Xero, MYOB, or similar)
- Good communication and problem-solving skills

Pay: $60,000.00 – $80,000.00 per year
