We are seeking an experienced and driven Engineering Manager to join our team. Our Engineering Managers are key people and technical leaders who help their teams deliver meaningful value to customers and the business.
In this role, you will partner closely with Product Owners to set direction, drive delivery outcomes, and guide the team through technical decisions when needed. You will bring a strong engineering background and be comfortable rolling up your sleeves where required, while keeping your main focus on people leadership, technical excellence, delivery, vendor and partner engagement, and the health of production systems.
You will be responsible for building, coaching, mentoring, and growing a high-performing engineering team. As a subject matter expert in your domain, you will help shape the future direction of the platform while fostering a culture of accountability, operational excellence, and continuous improvement.
What are we looking for?
- 7+ years of experience in software engineering, with at least 3 years in a leadership or management role managing people, operational excellence and delivery challenges
- Strong technical background with expertise in modern software development practices, tools and technologies – ideally experience with a variety of technology stacks including .NET
- Past experience with Genesys or contact centre platforms is highly desirable, but not mandatory
- Proven track record of successfully delivering complex software projects on time and within scope
- Familiarity with cloud-native technologies and architectures (e.g., AWS, microservices) is essential
- Strong collaborative skills with the ability to work effectively in cross-functional teams
- Excellent leadership, communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to inspire and motivate a team
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to make sound technical and operational decisions
