National Account Manager – Fleet
Permanent | Full time | Sydney
Due to an internal promotion, we’re looking for a National Account Manager – Fleet to join our Motor Vehicles team. Reporting to the Head of Customer Accounts – Motor Vehicles, this role is responsible for managing and growing our Fleet vendor portfolio, ensuring strong relationships, consistent performance and long-term retention.
Success in this role means taking full ownership of Fleet relationships end-to-end and turning them into long-term, high-trust partnerships that consistently deliver strong volume, clearance and revenue outcomes. You’ll stay close to your customers, proactively manage risks and performance, and work seamlessly across Sales, Operations and Digital to deliver results on the ground. You take accountability for portfolio performance, use data and insight to drive improvements, and identify opportunities to grow value and scale outcomes across your accounts—while remaining practical, collaborative and focused on doing the right thing by both customers and the business.
IN THIS ROLE, YOU WILL:
- Own and execute Fleet customer strategies aligned to the broader Motor Vehicles customer framework
- Manage vendor performance against agreed KPIs including volume, clearance, revenue and Days in Network (DIN)
- Build strong, trusted relationships with Fleet partners at multiple levels
- Act as the key escalation point for vendor performance or service issues
- Partner with Sales, Operations, Stock and Digital teams to deliver integrated customer outcomes
- Provide clear performance insights and recommendations to vendors to optimise asset returns
- Identify opportunities to grow value through improved channel mix, pricing and service solutions
- Drive consistent, scalable and efficient vendor management practices across Fleet accounts

- Knowledge of the motor vehicle industry and remarketing is highly regarded
