Position Key Duties:
- Lead business analysis activities for strategic initiatives, organisational change and continuous improvement programs across Student Services & Administration.
- Analyse and optimise business processes to improve service delivery, operational efficiency and the student experience across the end-to-end student lifecycle.
- Partner with stakeholders across the University to identify business needs, facilitate solution design and deliver outcomes aligned with strategic priorities.
- Provide data-driven insights and recommendations through business analysis, performance reporting and evaluation to support informed decision-making.
- Support the successful delivery of projects and digital transformation initiatives by managing business requirements, process redesign, testing and business readiness activities.
Promote a culture of continuous improvement by identifying innovation opportunities, embedding best practice business analysis methodologies and contributing to governance, risk management and organisational capability.

About You:
We're looking for a strategic and collaborative Business Analyst who enjoys solving complex problems and turning ideas into practical, measurable outcomes. You'll be equally comfortable engaging with senior leaders and frontline teams, using data and stakeholder insights to deliver meaningful improvements.
You will bring:
- Demonstrated experience in business analysis, process improvement or organisational transformation within a large and complex organisation, ideally within the higher education or public sector.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to translate business needs into practical, sustainable solutions supported by evidence and data.
- Proven ability to build trusted relationships, facilitate workshops and influence stakeholders at all organisational levels to achieve shared outcomes.
- Experience delivering business improvement or digital transformation initiatives, including business process mapping, requirements gathering, change support and benefits realisation.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to prepare high-quality business cases, reports, presentations and recommendations for executive audiences.
A proactive and collaborative approach, with a passion for continuous improvement, service excellence and enhancing the student experience through innovation and effective business practices.
