The Role:
We are seeking a highly organised and experienced Operations Manager to oversee day-to-day hospital operations at AES Canberra. You will work closely with the Hospital Leadership Team, and Regional Operations team to ensure smooth, efficient, and safe operations across the hospital.
This is a pivotal role where you’ll:
- Turn strategic objectives into executable workflows, monitoring operational performance and driving improvements.
- Oversee staffing, capacity, and rostering to maintain hospital efficiency and sustainability.
- Ensure systems, assets, and inventory are fully operational, compliant, and fit for purpose.
- Lead continuous improvement initiatives and operational projects at both hospital and group levels.
- Support and coach the Hospital Leadership Team in operational execution and people management.
- Maintain high standards in WHS, compliance, and risk management, including hospital safety and environmental initiatives.
What We’re Looking For
- Tertiary qualifications in Business or equivalent operational leadership experience.
- Proven experience in executing operational plans, managing change, and improving systems.
- Strong analytical skills, problem-solving abilities, and stakeholder management experience.
- High emotional intelligence, exceptional communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Proficiency with technology, including software platforms and ideally AI solutions.
- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously, adapt to change, and lead with professionalism.
