About the Role
We are seeking a Finance Business Partner - Capital to join our Financial Planning and Reporting team on a 12-month maximum term contract.
This role will support the financial management, forecasting, reporting and governance of Mauri's capital works portfolio, including major transformation projects and BAU capex activity. Working closely with Finance, Engineering and Project teams, you'll play a key role in ensuring capital spend is accurately tracked, reported and controlled.
The immediate focus will include supporting a major capital project approaching completion, along with a broader BAU capex portfolio of projects across the business. This is a hands-on finance role with strong stakeholder partnering, process improvement and reporting focus.
You'll be responsible for:
- Supporting capital project accounting, forecasting and reporting across major transformation projects and BAU capex spend.
- Partnering with Engineering, Finance and Project teams to provide clear financial insight on project spend, budgets, forecasts and variances.
- Lead process improvements to streamline current capital reporting and tracking systems.
About You
You'll be a finance professional with experience partnering with capital projects, capex reporting, project accounting.
The suitable candidate will possess:
- A finance background with CPA or CA qualification.
- Experience in capital projects, capex accounting, project accounting, project controls or finance business partnering.
- Strong understanding of project spend, forecasting, actuals reporting and cost tracking.
- A practical process improvement mindset, with experience streamlining manual processes.
- Manufacturing, FMCG or supply chain project experience would be highly regarded.
