Are you an experienced Service Technician who enjoys diagnosing faults, solving problems and working directly with customers? If you're looking for a role that offers variety, autonomy and excellent earning potential, CEA has an opportunity for you.
We are seeking a skilled Field Service Technician to join our team in Wingfield, with an immediate start available and excellent pay rates for the right candidate. Working both in the field and within our workshop, you'll be responsible for maintaining, diagnosing and repairing a wide range of construction and earthmoving equipment while delivering exceptional service to our customers.
This is an ideal role for someone who enjoys a mix of hands-on technical work, customer interaction and the satisfaction of seeing a job through from diagnosis to completion.
As a Field Service Technician, you'll be trusted to represent CEA at customer sites and deliver quality outcomes every time.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Diagnosing faults and carrying out troubleshooting on a variety of machinery and equipment
- Performing scheduled servicing, preventative maintenance and major repairs
- Working both in the field and within our workshop environment
- Ensuring all repairs and maintenance are completed safely, accurately and on time
- Carrying out warranty repairs in accordance with manufacturer requirements
- Completing service reports, job cards and documentation accurately
- Building strong relationships with customers through professional service delivery
- Maintaining high standards of safety, workmanship and housekeeping
- Following company procedures and industry OH&S requirements at all times
We're looking for a motivated technician who takes pride in their workmanship and enjoys working independently.
To be successful, you'll have:
- Trade qualification in Mobile Plant Technology, Heavy Diesel Mechanics or similar
- Experience working on earthmoving, construction or mobile equipment
- Strong mechanical, hydraulic and diagnostic skills
- Excellent fault-finding and troubleshooting abilities
- Strong communication and customer service skills
- The ability to work autonomously and manage competing priorities
- A positive, reliable and safety-focused attitude
- Commitment to following company procedures and safety standards
- A current and valid driver's licence
