We are a busy, modern dental practice located in the Northern Beaches, seeking a reliable and enthusiastic Dental Assistant to join our friendly and supportive team.
About the Role:
- casual position for 2–3 days per week with room to build on more hours
While dental assisting experience is preferred, it is not essential. We welcome applicants who are responsible, committed, and eager to be part of a professional clinical team. Full training will be provided to the right candidate.
Key Responsibilities:
- Chair-side assisting for general and surgical dental procedures
- Infection control and instrument sterilisation
- Laboratory work – pouring models, making retainers, bleaching trays, and special trays
- Occasional basic reception duties, including patient communication and appointment scheduling
Skills and Experience:
- Previous dental assisting experience is an advantage, but not required
- Certificate III or IV in Dental Assisting is desirable
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Good organisational skills and ability to work well in a team
- Positive attitude, eagerness to learn and grow
