At Polite Playground, we're not just any events agency — we're crafting unforgettable experiences. With operations spanning NSW, VIC, QLD, SA & WA, we specialize in creating marketing moments for our clients. From corporate activations to promotional events, we're on a mission to engage, excite, and make a lasting impact. We work with a wide range of leading brands, delivering creative, tech-driven, and people-focused experiences across Australia.
We're looking for Event Staff based in Brisbane to join our growing QLD team. This hands-on role combines event setup/pack-down, brand ambassador work, and basic photography support — perfect for someone who thrives in dynamic, fast-paced environments.
As part of the team, you'll be at the forefront of delivering memorable brand activations across Brisbane CBD and greater Queensland — from conventions to private functions and everything in between. You'll get to work with big brands, new technology, and a passionate team that makes every event come to life.

- Set up event equipment (camera kits, lighting, road cases, branded setups, TVs, printers, etc.)

- Troubleshoot technical issues on-site
- Engage attendees and promote the activation experience
- Manage attendee flow and maintain a safe, positive environment
- Pack down equipment and return to storage post-event
What we are looking for:
- 2–3 years' event experience (Brand Ambassador, Event Setup/Pack Down, or similar)
- Basic photography experience — comfortable with lighting setups, Canon camera functions, and a basic understanding of composition
- Driver's license and access to a car preferred (helpful for getting to venues across Brisbane CBD and QLD)
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Self-driven and adaptable under pressure
- Good organisational skills and attention to detail
- Flexibility to work varying hours, including evenings and weekends
- Based in Brisbane, with willingness to travel around Queensland as needed
