Forklift Driver / Warehouse Storeperson
The Fencing Warehouse at Revesby is seeking an experienced Forklift Driver to join our busy warehouse team.
Previous fencing industry experience is not required. We will provide all necessary product training on the job.
The position will initially be casual, with the opportunity to move into a permanent, long-term role for the right person.
Key Responsibilities
- Accurately pick and pack customer orders
- Load and unload trucks safely and efficiently
- Replenish stock and put away incoming goods
- Sort and move freight throughout the warehouse using a forklift
- Assist with general warehouse and manual handling duties when required
- Maintain a clean, organised and safe warehouse
- Work efficiently within a fast-paced warehouse environment
About You
We are looking for someone who:
- Holds a current LF Forklift Licence with a minimum of 1 year of forklift experience
- Has counterbalance and/or high reach experience
- Has a strong understanding of general warehouse operations
- Has strong attention to detail and accuracy
- Is punctual, reliable and efficient
- Has a strong work ethic and a positive, can-do attitude
- Works well as part of a team
- Can communicate clearly and effectively
- Is physically capable of undertaking general manual handling duties
- Is willing to work on the ground when required, as this role will not be entirely forklift operation
- Can work efficiently and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
- Is reliable and able to commit to the required working hours
- Is looking for stable, long-term employment
Previous warehouse experience is highly regarded.
Hours
Monday to Friday
6:00 am to 3:30 pm
There will also be opportunities for additional overtime during the week and Saturday work in the future.
