About the Role
Are you an experienced Personal Care Assistant looking for a role where you can truly make a difference? We are currently seeking compassionate and skilled professionals to join our dedicated 24/7 support program in Ballarat.
In this role, you’ll provide specialised, high-quality care to a client with complex health needs and challenging behaviours. Key Responsibilities
- Travel to our client's home to provide comprehensive, hands-on support tailored to their individual needs.
- Deliver person-centred care that promotes dignity, independence, safety, and overall wellbeing.
- Monitor and respond to changes in their health and behaviour; maintaining clear and timely communication with the wider care team.
- Adapting care plans to ensure our client receives the highest standard of support.
About you:
- Previous or lived experience working with individuals with ABI's and/or complex care needs - preferably in a 24/7 care setting.
- Certificate III or IV in Individual Support (Aged Care or Disability) or equivalent qualification.
- Current First Aid and CPR certification.
- NDIS Worker Screening Check clearance or willingness to undertake one.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Compassionate and patient demeanour.
