This is a structured 12-month traineeship designed to give you the foundations, skills, and experience needed to progress into a full Sales Executive role across our New and Pre-Owned vehicle teams.
About the Role
As a Sales Trainee, you will be based primarily within our Pre-Owned Vehicle department, reporting directly to and mentored by our Pre-Owned Manager. Over the course of 12 months, you will develop hands-on experience across the dealership while building the product knowledge, customer skills, and sales fundamentals needed to launch a successful career in luxury automotive retail.
In this role, you will:

Coordinate and execute professional vehicle photography for our Pre-Owned stock on Carsales and other platforms

Manage the presentation and preparation of Pre-Owned vehicles to Mercedes-Benz display standards

Assist with vehicle deliveries across both our New and Pre-Owned departments

Support the sales team with customer interactions and administrative tasks

Develop product knowledge across the Mercedes-Benz model range

Learn the end-to-end sales process under the direct guidance of your manager

Contribute to a positive team environment in a high-performing dealership
To be successful, you will have:

A genuine enthusiasm for cars and the Mercedes-Benz brand

A professional presentation and willingness to learn

Strong attention to detail, particularly around vehicle presentation and photography

A customer-focused attitude and confident communication style

The ability to take direction and work as part of a close-knit team

A current and valid driver's licence

Previous customer service or retail experience (advantageous but not essential)
